Krinklewoods inaugural “Blanc de Blanc” Sparkling Chardonnay is handcrafted from our very best carefully selected parcels of Chardonnay fruit. The fruit for this sparkling wine was picked on the 23rd January at a baume of 10.9.
WINEMAKING
This Sparkling Chardonnay is made using the traditional charmat method, whereby the fruit character is retained & displayed to its best advantage. This has produced classic Sparkling Chardonnay characters of lemon and stone fruit, and a long, elegant palate driven by minerality and natural acidity.
CHARACTERISTICS
Luminous pale straw in colour, with fine long lasting pearl-like bubbles. Crisp green apple and pear, long dry crisp finish with mineral notes.
CUISINE
The Blanc de Blanc is the perfect celebration wine, a great accompaniment to a fresh seasonal fruit platter or antipasto plate.
