A young and intense Shiraz with a vibrant ruby red color and purple hue. Displaying fresh raspberry and florals, delicate tannins melded beautifully with macerated cherries, subtle clove and a gentle mineral texture. Bright and engaging, this wine delivers a long drive, with a smooth, silky texture.
- Winemaking Notes
Hand picked in pristine condition, before being foot-plunged in open oak fermenters with 80% whole bunches, and then cold soaked for 48 hours adding complexity to the aromatics and allowing for natural fermentation to begin. The wine was pressed using our basket press and then matured in aged French Puncheons for 12 months prior to bottling.

This is exceptional Hunter Shiraz in a contemporary mould. Boysenberry, black olive and dried seaweed notes meld with the Hunter’s leather-varnished tannins, all complying with violet-scented, gushing fruit. Long, sappy and pliant.
This Shiraz is crimson with purple tints and has berry and lavendar aromas and juicy ripe plum front-palate flavour. The middle palate shows cherry, spice, mint and mocha oak and the finish peppery tannins. Fine with roast lamb. 5 stars
