FRUIT
The Krinklewood 2005 Basket Press Shiraz was handpicked by the Windrim Family from the estate grown Shiraz grapes.
WINEMAKING
This bespoke Shiraz was crafted in a traditional open fermenter, hand plunged and Basket pressed in our small cellar door winery by the Family. The wine matured in Aged French barriques for approx 16months before blending & bottling.
CHARACTERISTICS
Ruby red in colour, it is a medium bodied wine with a rich fruit palate well balanced by smooth velvety tannins & savoury oak.
CUISINE
A cheese platter is the perfect accompaniment.
